Youth unemployment is a challenge that the leaders tend to solve. The mismatch between training and market demand is responsible of the day to day increasing of the number of unemployed youth. According to the national institute of statistics and economic analysis (INSAE), only twenty-one point two percent (21.2 per cent) of young people are occupied and fourteen point seven (14.7 percent) of them are irregular workers. In the Face of this situation, which accentuates the poverty of young people, entrepreneurship is a solution that will allow these thousands of young people to self-employ.
The main objective of this project is to effectively contribute to the fight against unemployment and to promote youth entrepreneurship in Benin. More specifically, this project aims to
- Encourage young people to take an interest and believe in the potential of agriculture
- Enable young people to think on relevant ideas in agricultural entrepreneurship
- strengthen the entrepreneurial capacity of young people for economic and social transformation in Benin
